Blackthorpe Barn Arts actively supports contemporary arts and crafts through a series of exhibitions and shows presented each year at the Barn.

With a reputation for its high standard and fresh contemporary work, Artworks seeks to excite and inspire with its new work in a wide range of media by 30 of East Anglia’s leading artists. Filling the Barn with paintings, prints, sculpture and installation art, this is a great opportunity to indulge in excellent original art.
All the work is for sale. Also a shop selling a good range of original work, prints and cards. Once again there will be the ever-popular mini artworks prize draw.

Christmas at Blackthorpe Barn
Purely British crafts are represented by five weekends of crafts markets forming part of 'Christmas at Blackthorpe Barn' which runs every weekend from 15th November until Christmas. The highest standards of work are shown, achieved through a process of rigorous selection, with many of the sixty stalls changing from week to week.
From Saturday 8th November there is also a stunning selection of wonderful Christmas decorations and lighting offering everything from festive garlands to beautiful gift wrap in addition to sparkly lights to brighten up the wintry evenings. Plus, from Saturday 29th November the famous Rougham Estate Christmas Trees are available to purchase, each carefully nurtured throughout the year in plantations next to the barn, they provide the perfect centre piece for over 6,000 homes every year.
Whether you have a spare half hour or day, Christmas at Blackthorpe Barn will totally inspire all who visit. Bring the whole family along for a truly magical experience, there are homemade refreshments and mulled wine, and in ‘Bar Humbug’ award winning local ales to lift the spirits, plus being just off the A14 at junction 45, it couldn’t be easier to find (Sat Nav IP30 9JG).
